Intesa posts €5.5 bn first-half profit, ups outlook for year to over 10 bn

(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 29 - Intesa Sanpaolo posted a better-than-expected net profit of 5.55 billion euros for the first half of 2026, an increase of 6.5% with respect to the same period last year, and said it was upgrading its profit outlook for the year as a whole to over 10 billion euros.
