Obi, Kwankwaso Formalize 2027 Presidency Accord for Single Term
Rabiu Kwankwaso announced that two written agreements commit Peter Obi to serving only one four-year term if elected president in 2027, after which the NDC would support returning the presidency to Northern Nigeria in 2031.
