Elderly Man Scammed Out of 34,000 Euros for Daughter's Fictitious Treatment
An 81-year-old man from the Rijeka area was defrauded of nearly 34,000 euros by a scammer who convinced him he was paying for his daughter's urgent medical treatment. Police are warning citizens, especially the elderly, to be cautious.
