Slovenia, US, and Japan Tap Oil Reserves Amid Middle East Tensions
Slovenia has begun releasing oil derivative reserves for the first time due to increased demand and shortages, while the US is also releasing supply from its strategic petroleum reserve. Japan has also announced it will sell oil from national reserves at pre-Iran war prices to manage domestic costs.
