Hungary Announces VAT Exemptions and Tax Reductions

Hungary is implementing VAT exemption for prescription drugs starting September 1st, along with a VAT reduction for firewood before winter. Changes to personal income tax (SZJA) and KATA are set for January, while a date for healthy food VAT reduction is yet to be announced.
