Puigdemont Celebrates Amnesty Victory in EU, Threatens Renewed Push for Catalan Independence
Carles Puigdemont has celebrated a 'resounding victory' in the EU with the amnesty law and has threatened to once again pursue Catalonia's independence. Junqueras, who remains disqualified, also demanded the immediate application of the law to be eligible for upcoming Catalan regional elections.
