Italy's unemployment rate down to new low of 5.1% in January

(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 4 - Italy's unemployment rate dropped to 5.1% in January, the lowest level on record since the start of the statistics series in 2004, according to provisional data released by Istat on Wednesday. The national statistics agency said the jobless rate was down by 0.4 of a percentage point with respect to December.
