Children of Portuguese Father Await Citizenship for Three Years, Barred from Representing Portugal

Three minor athletes, aged 11, 13, and 15, who are children of a Portuguese father, have been waiting for Portuguese citizenship for three years. Without nationality, they are unable to represent Portugal in handball, swimming, and karate, with the IRN declining to comment on their case.
