India implements new labor law capping work week at 48 hours
India has introduced new labor codes that cap the weekly working hours at 48 and mandate overtime pay at double the hourly wage. The final rules for wages and industrial relations codes have been notified, paving the way for their implementation and including provisions for a National Reskilling Fund.
