Devotees flock to Obando for fertility rites amid heat, landfill issues

OBANDO, BULACAN, Philippines — Devotees and pilgrims seeking blessings for fertility, marriage, and abundance filled the streets here on Sunday for the Feast of San Pascual Baylon, marking the start of the May 17 to May 19 Obando Fertility Rites in honor of San Pascual Baylon, Santa Clara de Assisi, and Nuestra Señora de Salambao.
