WHRAO launches GH₵2.6m plan to address pre-trial detention, reintegration gaps

A growing justice crisis in Ghana, where thousands remain in prolonged pre-trial detention due largely to poverty and limited access to legal support, has prompted a bold intervention by the World Human Rescue and Advocacy Organisation (WHRAO), which is rolling out a comprehensive GH₵2.67 million action plan aimed at restoring fairness and dignity within the system.
