Suspects of Elder Abuse Held in Pre-trial Detention in Portugal

Suspects arrested by the GNR on Tuesday for alleged elder abuse have been placed in pre-trial detention, prohibited from contacting victims and relatives, and barred from working as caregivers, following an investigation that reportedly stalled for a year.
