Why BMC removed red-blue beacon from Mumbai mayor Ritu Tawde’s car

Mumbai's Mayor Ritu Tawde, Deputy Mayor Sanjay Ghadi, and Leader of the House Ganesh Khankar had red-and-blue beacons removed from their official vehicles following a controversy. The BMC administration's lapse in providing these unauthorized lights led to criticism from the opposition and RTI activists, despite the Chief Minister defending the mayor.
