Spanish royal Francisco de Borbon says he ‘never intended’ to be director of controversial Irish firm

A cousin of the king of Spain who was arrested and bailed last month over his alleged links to one of Spain’s biggest ever drugs busts has resigned as a director of an Irish company linked to the case.
