Commemorative Protest in Niš Marks 17 Months Since Novi Sad Canopy Collapse

Students blocking the University of Niš called for a commemorative gathering on April 1st to mark 17 months since the collapse of a concrete canopy at the reconstructed Novi Sad railway station, which killed 16 people. Protesters also voiced demands for university autonomy.

Studenti u blokadi Univerziteta u Nišu pozvali su kolege i građane da danas, 1. aprila, komemorativnim skupom obeleže 17 meseci od pada betonske nadstrešnice na rekonstruisanoj Železničkoj stanici u Novom Sadu, kada je poginulo 16 ljudi, a za šta još niko nije odgovarao.
