Indian Supreme Court Reserves Order on Referring CEC Appointment Issue to 5-Judge Bench

The Indian Supreme Court has reserved its order on whether to refer the issue of the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) appointment to a five-judge bench, following arguments from petitioners that the current law is unconstitutional and arbitrary.
