Slovenian Experts Advocate Against Right Turn on Red Light

The Urban Planning Institute of the Republic of Slovenia and the Zavod Vozim organization have advocated for the abolition of turning right on a red light. While this regulation might improve traffic flow, it poses increased risks for pedestrians and cyclists and heightens the potential for conflict situations.

Zavijanje pri rdeči luči: manj zastojev, več nevarnosti?

Urbanistični inštitut RS in Zavod Vozim sta se zavzela za opustitev zavijanja desno pri rdeči luči. Takšna ureditev, ki lahko sicer omogoči večjo pretočnost prometa, ogroža predvsem pešce in kolesarje ter povečuje tveganja za konfliktne situacije v prometu, zato jo v številnih tujih mestih opuščajo, so poudarili na strokovnem posvetu.
