NDP seeks to ban floor-crossing without constituents' consent

NDP MP Don Davies says he'll introduce a bill to ban MPs from crossing the floor without first going back to the voters in an attempt to clamp down on the type of defections that have bolstered Prime Minister Mark Carney's benches in recent months and helped the Liberals secure a majority.
