Latgale Congress in Rēzekne in 1917
The Latgale Congress took place in Rēzekne on May 9-10, 1917, where Latgalian Latvians discussed self-governance and decided to unite with other Latvians. The first day saw a tense atmosphere and 40 people leaving the congress.
