Fresh blow to TMC as 9 councillors quit, Diamond Harbour board dissolved

Diamond Harbour municipality's board has been dissolved after nine Trinamool Congress councillors resigned, citing financial irregularities and intimidation. The civic body, located in Abhishek Banerjee's constituency, now falls under administrative control with the sub-divisional officer appointed as administrator. This development marks another blow to the TMC following recent election losses.
