France, Britain extend 'one in, one out' migration deal

Emmanuel Haddad, France's minister delegate for Europe, told a parliamentary committee that 'it has been decided with our British partner to extend this agreement until October 1, 2026.' More than 41,000 migrants landed on England's southern coast last year – the second-highest annual number since records were started in 2018.
