Brno University of Technology Students Win Aviation Competition in Texas

Approximately thirty students from the Brno University of Technology in the Czech Republic, forming the 'Chicken Wings' team, won an aviation competition in Texas, USA. Their task was to design a radio-controlled aircraft capable of taking off on a runway shorter than three meters.

Asi tři desítky studentů z brněnského Vysokého učení technického zvítězily v letecké soutěži v americkém Texasu. Tým Chicken Wings, v překladu Kuřecí křídla, měl za úkol navrhnout letadlo řízené rádiem, které vzlétne na dráze kratší než tři metry a které je schopné přepravit třeba vodu.
