Agriculture Ministry Sanctions Large Distributors Under Food Chain Law
Over three years, Spain's Ministry of Agriculture has sanctioned major distributors like El Corte Inglés, Dia, and Carrefour under the food chain law, issuing more than 460 penalties. However, the majority of these fines have been levied against supplier companies, with supermarkets accounting for only 5% of the sanctions.
