Ambassador Nicoletti's visit to the Palacio Libertad in Buenos Aires
(ANSA) - BUENOS AIRES, 16 FEB - The Italian ambassador to Argentina, Fabrizio Nicoletti, visited the Palacio Libertad, a cultural center of great importance in the city of Buenos Aires, which has recently hosted numerous significant Italian initiatives. These include the photographic exhibition dedicated to the training ship Amerigo Vespucci, part of the initiative 'Il mare che ci unisce' (The sea that unites us), aimed at promoting the ties between Italy and Argentina; the contemporary art exhibition Pittura italiana oggi. Una nuova scena (Italian Painting Today: A New Scene), organized by the Italian Cultural Institute in Buenos Aires in collaboration with Triennale Milano, and the film series 'Classici italiani' (Italian Classics), which featured works by masters such as Federico Fellini, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Luchino Visconti, and Giuseppe Pedersoli, among the many initiatives hosted.
During the visit, according to a statement, the ambassador held a meeting with director Valeria Ambrosio, which allowed for further institutional dialogue and reflection on possible new joint projects. The occasion also provided an opportunity to explore further areas of collaboration, with the aim of responding to the growing demand for Italian culture in all its facets.
