Former Polish Deputy Minister Arrested Over EU Fund Fraud
Jacek Żalek, a former PiS MP and deputy minister, has been arrested by the CBA at the request of the European Public Prosecutor's Office. The arrest is likely connected to the alleged defrauding of EU funds from the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBiR).
