Philippine Group Decries Exclusion of Minimum Wage Earners from Aid
The General Alliance of Workers Association (Gawa) in Bacolod City, Philippines, has formally protested the national government's decision to exclude private minimum wage earners from emergency cash assistance, or 'ayuda'. The group condemned the exclusion despite the workers' financial needs.
