Japan's Health Ministry Plans Financial Support for Universal Dental Check-ups
To promote preventive medicine and extend healthy life expectancy, Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare has finalized a new plan. Starting next fiscal year, it will provide financial support to local governments and others to enable annual dental check-ups for all who wish, alongside improving access to cancer screenings.
