(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 17 - Cardinal Camillo Ruini, the head of the Italian Episcopal Conference from 1991 to 2007 and the Vicar General of the Diocese of Rome from 1991 to 2008, died on Tuesday at the age of 95. A leading figure among conservative Catholics, Ruini was close to John Paul II and a member of the College of Cardinals that elected Benedict XVI.
