Portuguese Parliament Debates Elevation of Towns and Villages

The Portuguese Assembly of the Republic is set to discuss initiatives in the coming weeks to elevate several settlements to the status of towns and cities. This follows a previous legislature where 16 villages became towns and two localities, Almancil and Mogadouro, were elevated to cities.
