Portugal's Burned Area Ranks Third Highest in a Decade, Vouzela Fire Exceeds 1,000 Hectares

Portugal has recorded the third-highest burned area in the last decade this year, with the Vouzela fire being the only one to exceed 1,000 hectares. Despite this, 81% of fires burned less than one hectare.
