African honour for Shivamogga scientist for his role in saving maize crop from viral disease

Suresh L.M., who is an alumnus of the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru, was honoured recently in Nairobi for playing a key role in fighting the viral Maize Lethal Necrosis disease to save Africa’s maize crop through his decade-long work.
