Romanian Public Sector Workers Face Frozen Incomes and Skepticism Towards Reform
Over 400,000 public sector workers in Romania will have their incomes frozen for the coming years, with only 3% having witnessed actual layoffs in their institutions. A significant majority, 8 out of 10, express disbelief in a performance-based reform.
