Portugal Allows Retailers to Sell Old Packaging Without Volta Symbol After August 10

Contrary to previous plans, Portuguese retailers will be allowed to continue selling old packaging that does not feature the 'Volta' symbol beyond August 10. Municipalities are now being asked to assess the urban cleaning costs associated with the new Volta system.
