Portuguese Ambulances to Support Hospital Transfers and Share Teams

Portugal's INEM ambulances, staffed by pre-hospital emergency technicians, will now undertake inter-hospital patient transport and share teams with the National Health Service (SNS). Ambulances dispatched for less urgent cases will no longer be permitted to use sirens.
