Austrian Researchers Study Ancient Trees in Peat Bogs

Researchers from the University of Salzburg are investigating the structure and formation of peat bogs in three Austrian states, searching for 12,000-year-old trees. The findings are being used by the Federal Forests for renaturation efforts.
