Loulé Submits Candidacy for Portuguese Capital of Culture
The Algarve municipality of Loulé has officially submitted its bid to become the Portuguese Capital of Culture, competing against Guarda, Leiria, Óbidos, Setúbal, and Amarante, with the winner to be announced on December 9, 2026.
