Volunteers Aid Amphibian Migration in Czech Karst Amid Declining Numbers

In the Czech Karst region, volunteers are assisting amphibians, such as frogs, in safely crossing roads during their spring migration, particularly near Pekárek pond. Despite these efforts and the use of barriers, the amphibian population continues to decline annually, with only 15 out of 7,000 frogs surviving to two years old.
