Italijo pesti burno vremensko dogajanje. Medtem ko velik del države stiska nov vročinski val s temperaturami do 40 stopinj Celzija, se zlasti na severu pojavljajo nenadna in silovita neurja. Na Gardskem jezeru so konec tedna močan veter in visoki valovi prevrnili več jadrnic ter v nevarnost spravili številna plovila, v Dolomitih pa so obilne padavine sprožile zemeljske in blatne plazove.
