Poles Massively Return Bottles and Cans as Deposit System Breaks Records

Poles are increasingly utilizing the deposit-refund system for bottles and cans, with 700 million packages returned in June and 2.3 billion since the beginning of the year. The number of return points has grown to 64,000, and the climate ministry is considering expanding the system.
