Clashes between Tigray’s TPLF and the Ethiopian federal army are taking place in a contested area of the northern region, with fears of a renewed war. The last Tigray war, which took place between 2020-2022 left 600,000 dead, and the region has not yet recovered. But mediation attempts from the US and African Union have seemingly failed to prevent the worst. Our correspondent in Addis Ababa Tom Canetti with more.
