Adriano Goldschmied, 'Godfather of Denim,' Dies at 82
Adriano Goldschmied, known as the "Godfather of denim" and credited with founding or developing at least 50 jean brands, has died at 82 after a battle with cancer. His Jewish father was murdered at Auschwitz.
