Xi Jinping hints that Europe should participate in Ukraine peace talks

Chinese President Xi Jinping, during a meeting in Beijing with German Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz, said that peace negotiations on Ukraine should ensure equal participation of all parties – apparently referring to the need for the European Union to be involved in the peace process.
