GST Collections Hit Record High in India, Marking 9 Years of Implementation

India's Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections reached an all-time high of Rs 23.11 lakh crore in FY 25-26, with April 2026 alone recording Rs 2.42 lakh crore, as the tax system marks its ninth year.
