Pompeii Victim Identified as a Doctor for the First Time
Archaeologists have identified one of the victims of the Vesuvius eruption in Pompeii as a doctor, marking the first time a profession has been assigned to a victim. The individual was found carrying medical instruments while attempting to flee.
