Quincy Wilson sets indoor national high school 500m record

Quincy Wilson added another milestone to his rapidly growing résumé Saturday, setting a new indoor national high school record in the 500 meters with a time of 60.22 seconds. The performance came during the boys’ 500m at a USATF meet hosted at the University of Pennsylvania. Wilson eclipsed the previous high school mark of 60.49 seconds, which had been established in 2025 by Andrew Salvadon.
