Periyar Tiger Reserve to launch Phase III Tiger Monitoring from February 25
As part of this phase, the tiger habitats within Reserve have been divided into grids of two square km each to ensure uniform spatial coverage; in each grid, two camera traps have been installed to capture photographs of passing tigers
