German ski mountaineering boss put on leave amid prosecutor probe
The German Alpine Club (DAV) which manages new Olympic sport ski mountaineering, has placed sporting director Hermann Gruber on leave following allegations of irregularities in medical tests. The Traunstein public prosecutor's office, from the Bavarian town where the DAV is based, has meanwhile opened an investigation into two unnamed people.
