Indian government cites child abuse, scams, piracy to justify Telegram ban
Citing findings from a home ministry probe, the Indian government justified its Telegram ban by mentioning child abuse, scams, and pirated content, in addition to the NEET-UG paper leak, and stated it is proactively monitoring groups on the platform.
