Latvian Trade Unions Threaten Protests Over Overtime Regulations

Latvian trade unions are considering protests if a compromise is not reached on amendments to the Labor Law concerning overtime regulations. The proposed changes are currently being reviewed by a parliamentary committee.

Ja neizdosies panākt kompromisu par Darba likuma grozījumiem, protestu rīkošanu neizslēdz arodbiedrības. Pašlaik izmaiņas likumā tiek vērtētas atbildīgajā Saeimas komisijā. Latvijas Brīvo arodbiedrību savienība norāda uz trim likuma grozījumu punktiem, kurus uzskata par sarkanajām līnijām.
