Japan's Furusato Nozei Donations Hit Record High

Japan's Furusato Nozei (hometown tax donation) system recorded a record-high total of over 1.33 trillion yen in donations to local governments last fiscal year. Approximately 11.51 million people utilized the system to receive tax deductions, also a new record.
